It’s almost a shame that the town and those canals are so gorgeous, because it makes for a jarring transition between that and the characters, which look like a totally different art style. (Still nice, though. Seconded the love for the facial expressions in this particular page. I’m enjoying the vibe between Jeff and Night in both this page and the following one.) In a published book, it’d be ideal to coordinate so that the switch between cool visuals and characters talking would happen right at a page-flip. Ah, well.
